Since joining Century Galleries Ltd in 2007, Nikki has built up an ever growing portfolio of
clients, supplying the ever increasing need for art work in offices.
The beauty of my company is it is based on such simple ideas and concepts. We have a vast catalogue of fine art and prints catering for all tastes, which our clients can then choose from and rent on an agreement basis. Renting artwork allows for flexibility, so changes can be made at any point. This is so important for our clients.
About three years ago, whilst travelling around and carrying out site surveys for clients, “it came to me” – I thought to myself, there are so many empty office and commercial properties available on the market. What makes one stand out from the other when being viewed by potential clients.
I then approached a few major Commercial Property agents and Facility Management Companies and suggested they hear my ideas: Placing artwork, flowers or plants and furniture within the reception area creates the idea of vision for people rather than a very clinical space. My ideas where well received, and Century Galleries Ltd now work on a regular basis with many large corporates and property agents, assisting in the interior colour scheme and artwork designs for their new and existing buildings.
Nikki’s background was very much sales and marketing, but she would always say there was a much more creative person waiting to come out. – The opportunity to work for such an enthusiastic and longstanding company like Century Galleries was a dream
